BUILDING INTEGRATED PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM

Photovoltaic modules are integrated into the building envelope, such as the roof or the facade, in a Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) system. BIPV systems may save money on materials and electricity by acting as both a building envelope material and a power generator, reducing the usage of fossil fuels and ozone-depleting gases while also adding architectural beauty to the structure.
